Lake Dispute and Moke Lake

Lake Dispute track is a 1½ hour return hike from Glenorchy Rd and connects either on a one way walk through farmland to Moke Lake or a sidetrack can be taken to the 12 mile loop track. (Collect DOC leaflet before doing these walks.)

Invincible Gold Mine

(2-2½ hours) Gold Extractor (5 minutes)
The Gold Extractor is very close to the start of the Invincible Gold Mine track. A steep climb takes you to the Invincible Gold Mine with good views of the Rees Valley and Mount Earnslaw.
